Caps Lock

Although most keyboards are designed for comfortable use, mistakes are inevitable. When typing fast, you can hit the wrong key and you will find yourself using upper case characters. An on-screen display of the Caps Lock status will always be useful and this application will provide it. Simply named Caps Lock, the utility will keep you informed if the function with the same name is on or off.

Caps Lock is very light when it comes to its size on the hard drive. It comes in a package which is roughly 300 Kb large, so downloading and installing it will only take a few seconds.

The application will run in the background. If you turn Caps Lock on, its system tray icon will change from a red "X" to a green check symbol. A small interface can be brought if you right click the icon and choose the appropriate option.

The Caps Lock and Num Lock functions can be activated or deactivated by clicking check boxes on the interface. If you activate one of them from the keyboard, the related option will be ticked automatically. You may also activate a sound which will be played on your speaker every 5 characters, including spaces. This number can be changed at any time by typing a different one (from 1 to 25) in a small dialog box.
